Vigil & Transition Sitting
Some moments are too sacred to face alone.
I have been honored to provide sacred caregiving at the end of life. Whether a family member needs a break or just finds it too difficult to be there, I can bring my love and compassion to help in life's final transition.
"I can sit so you can be family, not just caregiver, in those final days."
What vigil sitting includes
Vigil sitting is quiet, attentive presence. It is not medical care — it is human accompaniment. I work alongside your hospice team, following their lead, and offer calm companionship for your loved one and a steady presence for the family.
Hospital & rehab sitting
Hospitals and rehab facilities are busy, impersonal places. Having a familiar, calm presence in the room makes a real difference — for your loved one's comfort and for your peace of mind when you can't be there yourself.
Hospice transition sitting
The final days of a hospice journey are sacred and exhausting in equal measure. I sit with your loved one so you can step away when you need to — to sleep, to eat, to be with other family members, or simply to breathe. I am not there to replace you. I am there so you can be fully present when it matters most.
